For those of you looking for a series that is completed and doesn't take too long to read - check out the web comic "Tiny Sun" by emKas. It is a dark fantasy story that involves a female elf who is being kept in a dungeon, being accused of associated with demons. She says she is innocent. We hear her side of the story, a rather sad one at that.

With this somewhat short story emKas has given us a mysterious start to this character and her backstory. As I read on I learned there was a deeper story to this world and those who inhabit it. I don't want to give any spoilers but I was pleasantly surprised with the details and bit of backstory to how this elf character is where she is now. The art is original, drawn in a sort of sketchy style. I like the more natural and darker colors throughout. The same colors seem to be used throughout most of the comic but I felt like that made it stand out and it felt consistent. Also the different perspectives drawn give a good mixture to us readers, pages are all on different levels to each other.
Another thing I enjoyed about this story was that it wasn't complicated or overwhelming. The cast is small and it's not hard to keep up with the plot. Emotions run high at some parts but that's one of the other parts to "Tiny Sun" that I enjoyed. These are dangerous times and the writing of emKas for these characters and the narration is spot on.

I think this is a good short story to check out. It's a total of 47 pages and could even be read in one sitting - depending on what sort of reader you are. I happily finished it and I'm glad I found it on Comic Fury. It may be just the sort web comic you may be wanting to read!

When two characters come face to face due to one being buried in the snow and the other who finds and saves her - a string of events happen to the two and others around that no one saw coming! Kyohan and Tiramisu are the main characters in this lovely comic but there are plenty of others who play important roles. Tiramisu has no memory of where she has come from or who she is but she can see visions of the future. Kyohan becomes her closest friend and is dealing with his own inner demons. The two help each other along as they figure out more about themselves and each other.

What comes to mind as I've been reading Nostalibra's comic "Future without a past" is how it brings up a-lot of realistic emotions that most of us have hit some time or another. These emotions range all over and the way that she illustrates and writes of them in both present and flashbacks gave me the feels on a level that few other comics have done. For those readers who haven't felt or dealt with those emotions I think it may open them up to what the characters are going through in those moments. The ages of these characters range from older adults all the way down to children and the writing for their dialog is natural and easy to understand, I felt like I was right there with them as I read along.
As the story goes along there are both happier, sweeter moments and darker, deeper moments. They both even out nicely as the plot thickens. Nostalibra gives us plenty of flashbacks to better understand the characters. Also there are fun extra pages about the world they live in, like the islands and what it's like for those who live there. It makes the world that the story takes place in easier to understand and love. The layout of the panels are quite original and the way they flow has a special touch to them.

The art is in it's own league, wonderfully colored and full of life. I loved the styles for all of the characters - from their hair styles to their clothes. Each character has a certain charm to them - even the ones on the darker side have a somewhat fun vibe to their designs. One of my favorite parts of "Future without a past" is the cover pages for each chapter. They each give hints as to what may happen in that chapter but each are their own beautiful illustration. Another one of my favorite parts (there are a few honestly!) is the word bubbles for each character. They are different colors and flow with the characters as they are speaking. It stands out and makes reading so much more fun. When it comes to inner thoughts and emotions those are done differently depending on what is happening - but those are just as interesting. It's easy to see how much care and time has gone into this special story.

So far there are 18 characters to read up on! And the story is still ongoing, so there's plenty to catch up with. It's well worth checking out!

This is for all of you dinosaur lovers who want to read a documentary comic about Spinosaurus! It's beautifully illustrated and informative. It makes for a quick and educational read being about only ten pages long. I did not know much about this interesting dinosaur and by randomly finding this sweet little comic I learned some more about Spinosaurus as well as found a new comic and creator on Comic Fury to appreciate.
The artwork throughout 'Spinosaurus' is beautiful like I mentioned before. Some parts of it have a comical feel, like the pages with discussions by us humans. From the backgrounds and plants included to other dinosaurs illustrated throughout - this short and sweet comic has a relaxing and calm style to it. The colors and textures used work well together and the text isn't complicated, it's just the right amount to understand what is happening. But overall I feel it gives the reader a serious and educational look at this dinosaur. At the end of the comic are listed sources that FritzFliza used.
'Spinosaurus' is well worth checking out. It can be read in a short amount of time and can be a nice break for those who want to read a comic but don't want to get involved in something serious or long term. Give it a try!

"Wizard business" is a certain kind of comic all in it's own category. As the title says, we are introduced into a world of wizards and what they do. It's pretty original in it's art style, it's mostly gag a day comics about Joe - a friendly and spontaneous wizard and his close circle of friends, at times it can touch on some more serious topics and it like so many wonderful and creative comics on comic fury - it has room to grow. It's started in 2022 and each group of comics are placed in folders/chapters according to year.

The art starts in black and white and as time goes while reading we get more beautiful color pages from thecount. The colors they use are toned down a bit and give off more of a down to earth feel but at times when it's needed there can be bursts of color and excitement! I've loved seeing the evolution in the short time "Wizard business" has been around when it comes to the art. The characters style I personally think is my favorite part of this comic. There's a certain vibe to the art, the emotions behind it and what is being portrayed shine. The characters themselves and their expressions are also quite enjoyable. thecount has created a cast just big enough to keep things from getting bored while at the same time of not making it difficult or complicated.

When it comes to the writing of this series we the readers get to experience Joe at his best and worst. Sometimes we gets a spell done and it works out just as he planed - other times we experience Joe having some difficulty but usually there is always a solution to the problem. He's the type of character that as I mentioned before is spontaneous and that's what keeps the comic going. We never know what Joe is in for next! His friends and sweet girlfriend are always around and just as much fun to read about. Claudia the clown is my personal favorite. She's Joe's girlfriend. There is also the fun and loveable cow dog that makes occasional appearances throughout the comic. Whoever can't love that beast... I don't know what to tell you!

I feel this is a comic that is worth checking out and giving a read. Just a feel good comic about a wizard, his life and those who he surrounds himself with!

This fun, creative and warm loving comic is a special one for me. Whenever I take the time to read it I always end up smiling. It's a simple enough idea - the comics are basically a gag-a-day themed and also mostly food related jokes (which is always great!) but there is much heart and care out behind it. I think one of the things I like about 'Cat donut' so much is I can read it any time of day. EbenFrostey's sense of humor is original, fresh and sarcastic at times - which matches Cat Donut's sense of humor nicely. The writing is easy to follow, as are the comics... it's not complicated or difficult. Just a cute and curious cat going about life in this neat little world with other cute, colorful characters to interact with. Another nice thing about gag-a-day comics is that picking up 'Cat donut' anytime works! There's no complicated or messy plot.

The characters in the world of planet pasty are all food related creations. We have of course the main character - Cat donut! Who is a cat shaped like a donut. But then there is a whole cast of creative characters like Beagle who is a dog with a beagle shaped body, Chicken biscuit who is a chicken shaped like a biscuit, Unicorn pizza who is a unicorn shaped like a pizza, Goose pretzel who is a goose that is shaped like a pretzel, Beaver waffle who is a beaver that is shaped like a waffle, Bunny egg who is a bunny shaped like an egg... and you get the idea. There are quite a few to mention but I'll let you meet them and be surprised by their fun and different introductions. I feel like they all interact with each other well. Sometimes there are little issues they need to work out together, sometimes it's a simple laugh or sometimes just something nice happening to them in that moment. Whatever the case the art and the designs are pleasant and in their own original style. I really love the idea of these animals being part food. It's a fun concept to think about. Long after I read the comic I'll think throughout the day of different creations that would make a good pair together and how they would fit in this web comic world!

So if you are looking for something different, new and full of fun vibes that has some creative food themed animals in it - I think 'Cat donut' may be just the web comic for you! It's well worth looking into at least, even just to see the creativity behind the characters and writing of this sweet web comic.

https://beautifulradiantthings.webcomic.ws/comics/1#content-start

I found this comic, "Beautiful radiant things" just by chance and I'm so happy I did. It's one of the most realistic and down to earth comics I've read. I feel like it's in it's own category, being a very special comic of it's very own. It does fall into the themes of LGBTQ+, romance, comedy, slice of life, queer, nonbinary, enby, transgender, trans, polyamory, poly and polyam. So if you aren't comfortable with those themes you may want to skip this one. But if you are open to those themes and want to try a new comic that has beats to it's own drub then - I think you should give this one a try!

There are many things that make this comic a gem! One of my favorite is the characters and how relatable they are. They just feel so real, like people you may already know. The author, Starfish_comics has created such a good, diverse cast of characters! As I've been reading chapter by chapter I've found they all have similar issues to what you or I may struggle with or have struggled with. Or may in the future! We all have flaws and issues and I think that this comic reminds us of that. They each are going down their own roads in life, sometimes their paths cross - sometimes they struggle and learn on their own - but all the while I couldn't help but feel for them during these paths. It focuses a-lot on different relationships. Friendships, family relationships, romantic ones... the ups and downs of those. Understanding each other, learning about each other, supporting each other. Life can be quite complicated and I think this comic covers that. And I can't forget to mention the cute little ghosts who haunt the apartment! They also have their own charm to add to this already remarkable web comic!

Starfish_comics has a great art style. It's a fun, cartoony style and made me feel wholesome and happy as I read along. I enjoy how the characters have different body shapes and body types. Nothing is left out! Other comics have characters that are all cut out of the same cookie cutter shapes but "Beautiful radiant things" is nothing like that! The pages and panels along those pages are also a fun joy to experience. The story takes special pauses to enjoy a special moment and to be honest, most other comics have a hard time comparing to these moments. I still have a ways to go with catching up on future chapters but already I feel pretty invested with the characters and their relationships. All of the colors and scenes build the emotions together in such a way that it felt like I was right there with them. While things were going good or going bad.

I think a good word to sum up 'JumpHero' is fun loving. The characters, the environment, the writing and the art all just help create a world and comic that is fun and enjoyable to read. If you like stories that have quirky, cute characters that have superpowers, some pup culture references, a nicely paced plot, set in a fantasy world with video game references with some wholesome comedy - I think you might like to give this one a try.

There are points in the story where I didn't know what would happen next - sometimes something funny and unexpected, sometimes something exciting and suspenseful and other times just some wholesome story telling. The characters go through some similar situations just as we do from day to day. Friendship, learning about your peers, respect, having responsibilities and roles, helping solve problems... Then also some more darker subjects can come about! The chapter 'Where does power come from?' is a good example. I don't like to give spoilers with these short, positive reviews but just know there's a-lot more to this comic than what it may look like at first!

When it comes to the art I greatly enjoy the character designs and their different personalities. They each have something special about themselves. All are pretty cute and original. The colors and the line work really make the pages pop. Nothing feels complicated or difficult to keep up with. The world in which 'JumpHero' is set in feels vast and full of adventure, some pages as I read I found myself loving this little magical world. And as the pages and chapters go on we the readers get to experience more of it, diving deeper into things. Honestly I feel it can go in a 'feel good' comic Category.

So far in Season one we have eight chapters to binge through. And in season two we have two currently. The author Marlene also shares some great little extras with us readers which are fun to get into. It has a caring and passionate feel for their comic and the characters in it. I still need to get caught up on the newer pages. But I look forward to it. This series is a pleasant one and I feel like it's been getting a good group of loyal readers.

This comic starts out with one of our main characters named Derec who meets a mysterious new boy named Sunyi. After helping Sunyi with an injury, the two become friends and go on to have an adventure of sorts.

I must say that one of my favorite things of this web comic is the beautiful and original artwork. It is digital but gives the impression (to me at least) of something similar to a painting. All of the textures and details give me that feeling. I probably sound like a broken record with how much I admire digital art - but you can do so much with it. And this is another example! Breathtaking pages and scenes to tell a story! It sets the mood just right, giving the story and the characters in it a warm and welcoming feeling. I like the cover pages to each chapter. They give a glimpse into this wonderful world, the characters or even a bucket of fish! A fun way to pause before entering into the next chapter.
Kakyssa's character designs are enjoyable - from the mystical, fantasy creatures to the humans. They all shine with their expressions what they bring into this story. Even the designs of the homes, buildings, villages - it feels pretty different to the other web comics I keep up with and that's another reason I am happy to dive into this story from time to time. There's an original feel here and it keeps getting better the deeper the story goes for these characters!

Another enjoyable point to bring up of "A tuff of Golden Grass" is the writing. It's nicely paced. The chapters aren't too long or complicated. There aren't a ton of characters and I feel like the cast is easy to remember and only adds to the story line in a positive. The dialog doesn't fill up the pages, just enough conversation which in this comic's case I think is important because the art also tells the story itself, too. Throughout in the author notes Kakyssa will list real world fauna and flora, which is always a fun little surprise.
Currently there are nine chapters! I'm working my way to being caught up again. There's plenty to explore and read in the meantime to get caught up on. I highly recommend checking out this comic. It's beautiful and a nice little adventure set in a far away land. Definitely a feel good comic.

Feef has created such a dark, creative and mysterious webcomic here. It's genres cover science fiction, supernatural and Furry/Anthro, which I think is the first of it's kind I have come across on Comic Fury. Spoon is the main character but also the demon who inhabits his guitar plays a very important role, too. These two characters work well together. In a sense they remind me of a yin and yang - playing off of each other and balancing each other in such a way. They are in a wasteland after an accident happened ten years ago that involved a plane, a portal, limbo and an explosion! Now they are on a journey back to Spoon's childhood home, finding ghosts and other survivors along the way. It has a post apocalyptic vibe to it for sure.

The comic is black and white with the occasional red and it really pops. Later in pages there is some yellow which also pops quite well, too. I have to say that the black and white mostly done throughout is completely accurate for the wasteland "First song" takes place in. The linework throughout the comic is fresh and clean - I really enjoy the designs of Spoon and the other characters. They are simple in a way but still have a good amount of detail to them. Some of the characters throughout really have a horror theme to their design. Which is great, the amount of fear added to them makes this unknown wasteland all the more scary. All of the buildings they have seen so far and experienced set the stage well for the sad fate after that accident. Not much is left of them. It's both heartbreaking and beautiful in a strange way.
The writing throughout is nicely paced. When Spoon sings the lyrics are wonderfully done. I felt like a-lot of thought and time was taken to create Spoon. There seems to be a darkness and sadness to them. The same goes for their demon ally. When it comes to the sound effects they are done with a creative spirit. I enjoy how the panels flow along each page, it makes for an enjoyable read.

So far for reading we have the prologue which is in two parts and chapter 1 which is in two parts. I still have a bit more to catch up on but it's been a good steady read. Its honestly a perfect comic to check out just in time for Halloween - but anytime of the year works perfectly well, too. I recommend it, especially if you like spooky, haunting and post apocalyptic stories.

I'm not even sure where to start with this wonderfully and what I feel like is a underrated comic! There are so many directions this series goes into with creativity and curiosity. "Under Sagittarius" is a story of where humans have long gone left earth and now a group of centaurs characters are in the process of rebuilding their own civilization. It's a series that's become one of my favorites on Comic Fury and that I look forward to each time it updates. I'm currently caught up.

The art itself is beyond fantastic, the comic is done in black and white which sort of matches the vibes given throughout the start of things - the unknown and mystery revolving the earth and these centaurs. But then for cover pages and once in awhile throughout the creator Cowsloveclover gives us these beautiful and breathtaking pages in full and vibrant colors. In traditional art! In markers and pen! From the backgrounds and word around them we see how things are left in this familiar but also unknown world. It's scary at times but also there is a sense of wonder as they travel along finding clues and items from a time before them. The world is still a beautiful place and has so much to offer for them. Nature has taken over so much, growing up and over buildings in a haunting but magical way. I love the style the characters are drawn in - from their outfits to their hair to their centaur forums. They are all unique and stand out in their own ways.

I enjoy the writing throughout "Under Sagittarius". As the characters speak to each other the word bubbles flow nicely and go along with the panels and art. At times Cowsloveclover's style takes over and we get thoughtful or dramatic pauses where the art and illustrations take over from the dialogue. Beautiful scenes that take over and ingulf you in such a positive way. Like I've mentioned earlier, there is a good amount of mystery to things. And it's that - among many other reasons - that I kept reading and want to learn more. How long will they continue on? What else will they find? Who else will they find? What will happen to their relationships? What else will we learn about them?

I highly recommend this series. In the world of Comic Fury I feel it could use some more fans and subscribers. It's one that I feel has a-lot of growth and opportunity. Check it out! I don't think you would be disappointed!

https://comicfury.com/comicprofile.php?url=actioneers

In "Actioneers" life doesn't seem to be going well for Christopher, but with the help of his friends - both old and new - a new chapter may be unfolding! By moving into a new place with some friends and starting a detective agency by Finfin's suggestion!
From the profile, Archer Xanthorg has written this web comic/story ten or more times which is quite impressive! It shows in the care and dedication they've put into their series.

This webcomic's art style is fun, original and easy on the eyes. I enjoy the character designs and their differences when it comes to their hairstyle, outfits and the variety in cast. The pages are colorful with a nice source of hues which makes for an calming read. The use of expressions and body language helps the humor, with Archer Xanthorg getting the right moods of the characters during the right moments. The humor throughout "Actioneers" is enjoyable. The characters themselves are likable and there are a good number of them to keep the story going, not getting complicated or anything. There comes a sense of hope and excitement once the detective agency becomes a thing. Anyone could call and anything could happen!

So far there are 23 pages up and its a solid start! Currently it is left on a good cliff hanger with some new, mysterious characters who have come around. I think it's a nice comic to try and give support to. I think Archer Xanthorg has created a good story, world and characters within in it. There is a-lot of room to grow! I'm excited to see where things go for Christopher, Finfin and the others. I have a good feeling about this one!

https://todayagain.thecomicseries.com/comics/1/#content-start

To say this comic was a pleasant surprise while logging onto Comic Fury one day is an under statement. I feel like it is one of the under rated comics on that site. There are a-lot of areas that this story explores and I glad I started reading it! I was curious about the title and the cover art caught my eye. It covers time travel, sexuality, romance and science fiction..

The story starts out in 2022 with two average teens named Kyle and Roger. Through some unexpected and (what seems to be unlucky at the time!) events, they get transported back in time 35 years! They are in the same neighborhood, so it's quite an experience to say the least in seeing what life was like 35 years ago. For almost anyone this would be a huge shock, and it is for these two but as the story progresses they start to find their way in this new but still somewhat familiar world they are trapped in. The creator DaveElliottSmith writes wonderfully, with all sorts of jokes and humor throughout the comic. There are fun references to pop culture both from today and back then. Both Roger and Kyle are different in their own ways and it's their personalities that keep the story and the plot going since they both have their own interests and thoughts on their unfortunate situation. The strange man from the future who is now in the same time & place as they are also gives us small peeks of the future world where he comes from. So added in the three of them together for an uncertain time they have to work together and try to keep things normal and not be suspicious.

And this seems to be where my mind would wander about during and after I'd read this series. We think about it from time to time: What would it be like to live in the past? Or even the future. I'm one who would like to live in the past, but as I've experienced these young men going through it it feels harder than one would first think. 35 years isn't that long of a time, but in some ways it is when we live in an ever changing and fast paced world as we do today with technology for example! To give up certain things we have grown accustomed to, rights we have now when it comes to same sex relationships... these are topics they learn about and deal with in their own ways.

I cannot finish this quick, positive review without mentioning the fantastic artwork that sines throughout each and every single page. "Today again" is done in water colors. Beautiful work, I think the finest work I have seen on Comic Fury to date. All of the details, the characters themselves, the backgrounds, buildings... they are done with such care and talent I feel I cannot give it justice in saying so. It makes me want to master and explore more with the medium since I know how changeling it can be to work with at times. DaveElliotSmith's work with showing their expressions is impressive as well.

So if you are looking for a new series to read and experience I highly recommend it! It's totally worth checking out. I'm not caught up, I've been a slow reader with this one. But there is plenty to binge and I feel like updates are on a good schedule.

Between last week and this week I have been busy with various things. When I get on my laptop I've been typing out pages for my comic, to post on Comic Fury. I'm at a point where I am now sharing the early ideas of what is now "Promised Memories". This may be hard for some of you to believe, but I can only stand so many hours of being in front of a screen a day. :-p I'm not the best at typing, and after an hour or two of it I just need a healthy break. I'm close to being updated on all of that and then getting back to the story itself.
Overall life has been good, I've just been keeping busy with usual hobbies and other things around my house and yard. Hope you guys have been well, I plan on going through the reading page. And finally catching back up on being here again. I've missed Dreamwidth.

https://ad6story.thecomicseries.com/comics/1#content-start

Out of all the comics I read and keep up with on Comic Fury, this is a darker and heavier one. I do have to say if you have a weak stomach to take this wonderful series in with caution! There is a-lot of violence, gore, ect. Just to be ready for that may be wise. It's all part of the story and I couldn't image someone else creating such scenes and such a story as well as mister.dino01.

The artwork that comes from mister.dino01 is both haunting and beautiful at the same time. There are parts - especially in the first few pages of this comic series - that it feels like I was viewing a painting. The pacing and leadup to the introduction page and the prologue sets the mood right. I felt a few emotions during these pages, but in a good way! It took me away from reality as I read and got me completely into this dark and dangerous world.
Speaking of fine artwork, I must add the fighting and action scenes come right to life. When a character is in pain - I felt like the emotions and hurt were done extremely well. I found myself gritting my teeth several times throughout some of the more violent parts. "A D6 Story" felt more real than I have felt with other comics recently in this sense. mister.dino01 has a strong skill set for illustration with the leadup to fights, during the action and the aftermath.

Throughout the story the characters that are introduced are well written. They have their inner struggles and intriguing layers to them. They have enough character and personality to get you to like them enough - but at the same time I felt they have a-lot more depth for us to explore and learn about. I like their designs, they are done in an easy to follow cartoon style, but with enough details and originality that they stand out among other characters from online comics.
All of their ambitions and goals are well explained and felt. As I read along I rooted for the main protagonists, even if they felt they were on different paths. Their struggles and pain is real, as throughout the comic they go through different situations that hurt both physically and emotionally. And that seems to be a difficult thing to pull off, but mister.dino01 has made it work perfectly clear with these interesting characters introduced so far.
And when it comes to details with the backgrounds, the buildings, the setting overall in which this story takes places - that also is done with a special talent. Those scenes in which are calmer and slower, that pace sets a new calm. But if the story is picking back up again, anything goes and we the readers get put right into the thick of it! It makes for an exciting ride. Throughout "A D6 Story" fun and different perspectives and angles are done in.

So far we have 5 chapters out to enjoy from mister.dino01! I still have a bit to catch up on, but I look forward to it as I feel it's been uploading at a good pace and there is plenty to binge. If any of you are looking for a new series to explore that has a-lot of action, mystery, horror, a super hero vibe and plenty of twists and turns - I think you should give "A D6 Story" a try, chances are you won't regret it!

https://offcentaured.the-comic.org/comics/1#content-start

I stumbled upon this comic one day just by logging in and seeing it on the recently uploaded comics if I recall correctly. And I'm happy I did. I didn't know many comics/web comics involved centaurs as the main cast. But I feel it's slowly becoming more of a popular thing, if not maybe it was already and I'm just late to the party! It's a new take that felt natural and fun as I read along this quite original and whimsical comic series. This web comic is a team effort by both Cubist and DarkwingDude.

The writing is done nicely, somewhat short chapters that are easy to keep up with and I feel stay on track with whatever that chapter's topic covers. "Off-Centaured" touches on both realistic issues with a large population of humans now becoming different kinds of centaurs! Quite suddenly overnight! This causes some people who haven't changed to either become friend or foe of those who have physically changed but still are the same on the inside. They try to carry on and live their lives as best as they can with these new bodies. I don't want to spoil anything, but this as the backbone of the series is brilliant. I feel as if something went down like this today the public would have all sorts of similar views - be it hate, curiosity or support. Our two main characters are Cubist and DWD but throughout the comic DarkwindDude brings back side characters and their ever changing lives. As things are always changing and evolving in this new world.
And the comedy is wonderful throughout! Just about every chapter will had me laughing in some way or another because of weird situations we find out main cast of characters in. In the third panel alone we get the line "Suddenly horse butts"! The writing is enough to keep you guessing, laughing and engaged.

From the start of this comic, I could tell that Cubist has put some serious time and care into their style, the layout of the pages and the shading/textures of everything. It almost feels like watercolor paintings with how soft and smooth the illustrations. The facial expressions are probably one of my favorite things while reading along. They capture the feelings end emotions perfectly. But also I can't get enough of the creative designs for all the different centaurs! Cubist has given us readers a good variety to enjoy throughout the series.

I still have a bit to catch up on, but there are plenty to read starting out! With a bit over 16 chapters so far! But I highly recommend this strangely fun web comic. It's worth checking out and trying out something new, take my word on it. "Off-centaured" is a series that'll make you think, laugh and be curious of the world around us.

With the webcomic's description as follows: "In 1983, my two best friends and I accidentally got our Algebra teacher fired. This is our TRUE story!!!" I didn't know what to expect... But I'm happy I started reading and got on the "way out there!" ship along with the other readers. This web comic has been nothing short of entertaining, humorous and creative. It truly is an original idea for a story!

One of the first things that caught my eye about "Way out there!" has been the art. It reminds me of a few different styles and tastes that go smoothly together as I read along. There are characters who are wicked dark, evil and it shows well with their designs. Then we get pure and innocent characters and their designs capture this wonderfully about them. McGrenivan's ability to create these characters shines brightly throughout. And the action scenes pop right out of the panels! From the movements to the fighting - it's another part of this web comic that makes it feel like it's in it's own world of talent. Throughout there are all sorts of fun and exciting sound effects that add to the excitement of it all. I can't forget to share how he's added in so many other cameos from well known Comic Fury comics perfectly. The way they fall right into place in the "Way out there!" world is fun to put it simply. Another favorite part of this series is how the story goes from the present to the past. During present times it's full of color but when we go back to the past it's black and white. Almost a lost and unknown place from the current, wild times of the story! And that added volumes to the depth to the feelings and experience of the cast, what they have been through and how they got to where they are now. From page one I found little hidden treasures from pop culture. Those were and still are fun to find as I've been flipping through pages to write this review. With each page the details glue you in and I caught myself at times admiring a page or two because of the art alone before I went on to the next page.

"Way out there!"'s writing gives the readers bits of everything from comedy to adventure to mysterious situations to some romance to drama. The pacing of the story was set right, not rushing into the next plot too quickly. With the other cameos it added to the story. With such a diverse cast of characters McGrevivan keeps up well with them all. The way they talk and their mannerisms made it easy and fun to remember who is who if I didn't see them in a bit. And with those characters and their differences in personality and beliefs it's entertaining in it's own way! You get adult figures who are the worst, students who are put in unbelievable situations, random and strange characters who both play important and side roles who all impact each other and the story nicely. It's an easy comic to read, all of the word bubbles are neat and are placed along the pages well with the art.
Another side note is how kind McGrevivan gives shutouts to other creators on Comic Fury, helping spread the word of their creations. So throughout this gem of a series we also get to hear about others.

I think those curious to read this Comic Fury adventure will find something they will enjoy about it, from the art to the actual story to the comedy to the adventure of it all - I highly recommend it! Check it out today!

This science fiction - super national comic is set in the future, in a world where humanity is complacent. Where behind everything we know and are familiar with, way more may exist than we ever knew possible... even with the help of a talking cat! I think one of the best things about "The Alphahumans" is that it takes a risk with the unknown. We as the readers are thrust into a world of unknown situations with the main character and as we discover more, we also find everything in this story pleasantly mysterious.

To date there are three fantastic chapters to read from Ironshadows, so there's enough to binge on while waiting for the story to continue! Chapter four has started!
The main character is named Eris, but there are many characters to follow as the story evolves. There is the ISIA for example! They give off a special, mysterious and darker vibe I felt. The different perspectives that go down in this web comic series really make you think about the different sides, their view points and motivations. I think it's a good mix of writing that keeps us readers engaged.

As for the art, the evolution I've witnessed while reading it was impressive to say the least. I really enjoy the current art style but how it all started has a good feel to it as well. One of my favorite bits of this comic was the character designs! The way the look, their expressions, their clothes, hair and overall style - it's all nicely done. The backgrounds, character designs and details just keep getting better! When action scenes happen in "The Alphahumans", I felt them! From the blows to the dodges, all of the scenes are paced well and read smoothly. With the sound effects, they come out powerful and felt. And when it came to the magical powers being used - the effects that Ironshadows uses give off such a powerful feeling. Details like rain coming down, lights at night, shadows , different perspectives, buildings, transportation - they are all done beautifully.

From reading this series and now knowing and not knowing what is yet to come for it is exciting, I recommend it to any of you who are looking for something new. I think it's a kind of series that can please many different kinds of readers.

So it's been about two weeks and I haven't wrote a Comic Fury review. And that's okay. To be honest it was starting to feel repetitive and I'm not sure if my writing has gotten better as a result. So I am just taking some time off. I think I will go back to every other week or every three weeks. But I just wanted to let you guys who like to read them know. Instead it has been nice taking a break writing about what I am grateful for in my life and answering those questions. But I will go back to them someday soon. I just need time to breath.

"Dead Life" is a wonderfully fascinating comic about a young boy named Hammy, Narcia and a cruel twist of fate that changes everything for them both. It's basically from his point of view, a refreshing way to tell this interesting tale.
What we get when reading "Dead Life" is mystery, suspense, curiosity, bits of humor, some serious heartbreak pulls, likeable characters and a story that will keep you wanting to read more. I'm happily caught up with it and I'm happy to share what I think of this story so far.

ShoobaQueen's art style has many layers to it! There are the cute moments with Hammy, the sad moments when emotions take hold of us readers, the spooky reality of the afterlife... all of those and more take place in a detailed and lush world. It is such a beautiful comic and story. But the beauty of it because of the talent ShoobaQueen has but also because of the story itself. The majority of the comic takes place in a forest. We the readers are treated with lovely trees, shrubs, plant life, breathtaking backgrounds, spooky night scenes... it made me feel as if this story could be simply changed into an animated cartoon. Shades, shadows, textures - they all pull you in!

The writing and story telling goes on a few different paths - but all in good faith! There is humor at times, which enjoyable since Hammy is such a sweet boy to read along about. But some of the time I would laugh out loud at how goofy things became. Then there are the heartbreaking moments (I don't want to give any spoilers here) that truly pull on your heartstrings. Times where as I read I felt my eyes tearing up and I felt for the cast of characters going through some truly awful moments. ShoobaQueen adds some mystery of the afterlife. I've always been interested in the afterlife and other's views on the matter. With "Dead Life", it's an ongoing adventure for Hammy as we learn along with him what this all means. One of my favorite things is seeing the world through Hammy's eyes. The innocence of a child like our little hero in this dark new unknown makes it a special sort of story.

"Dead Life" has excellent pacing. It's not a complicated read to understand what is happening, the panels and pages are easy to keep up with. And the cast isn't large or confusing either. There is a simple cast page that I discovered while working on this review! So far there are three chapters to enjoy, the third just starting a bit ago. Already this fantastic series has a good number of fans, which makes sense. I feel it has captured many different readers in the comic fury world, give it a try today - it just may capture your immigration and curiosity too!

I personally feel like "HAVEN" is one of the rare underrated comics that I have had the pleasure to read and enjoy. It falls in with the themes of fantasy, romance, action, mystery and drama. There is a mature rating for this, just a heads up.

There was an old version of this series that was last updated in 2022, I haven't read that one. But I do find this interesting. From what I can tell from wasserienchen's author notes with their posts, they have put a-lot of care and work into this fine series. This new version is more polished and they fixed up things they did not find useful or needed from the old one. It's a good amount of work and time put into making this story better with time and I fully respect that.

"HAVEN" starts us out with a simple girl named Astrid who is given a new fate, something she was not expecting nor wanting (At first) but as time goes on, she grows into quite a character with plenty of development. I don't like to give out spoilers with these reviews, so I won't go into much with the other cast of characters, but they are creative and help support and carry the story in a wonderful way. There is some darker moments with some of them, adding to the mystery and depth of the story. Some of them make you question their motivates, which is always exciting! I like how in the start of the story there is a sense of innocence and as things go on, it gets more mature. The character growth and plot goes at a good pace from what I have read so far.

The artwork that wasserienchen has shared with us is breathtaking. From the fine details of the shadows to the way light shines in certain scenes... action scenes that play out with such force, it feels like it will come right out at you! When I was reading and experiencing different scenes like deep within the woods, villages, training grounds, inside different buildings... it was all done beautifully. I felt like the story not only is a powerful one for what it is, but because of how I lost myself to the wonder of the artwork - it completely comes out on a new level.
I greatly enjoyed the character designs as they bring everything to life. You can tell so much just from the designs of the characters from guards to regular people in the village to the higher class. The sense of style is impressive. Their faces are very expressive. I think I enjoy their eyes the best, wasserbienchen can add such emotion to their eyes. Since we are reading about angels (I don't think this is a spoiler!), another favorite part of mine with this comic series are the wings that come with those characters. While they are flying, fighting, resting, standing... they are all beautiful and drawn with grace.

To date there are 8 chapters up on Comic Fury, all are a good length and will keep you entertained. I'm almost caught up on "HAVEN'. So if you haven't experienced this story, I recommend you check it out. It is well worth a look into!
