I'm not even sure where to start with this wonderfully and what I feel like is a underrated comic! There are so many directions this series goes into with creativity and curiosity. "Under Sagittarius" is a story of where humans have long gone left earth and now a group of centaurs characters are in the process of rebuilding their own civilization. It's a series that's become one of my favorites on Comic Fury and that I look forward to each time it updates. I'm currently caught up.
The art itself is beyond fantastic, the comic is done in black and white which sort of matches the vibes given throughout the start of things - the unknown and mystery revolving the earth and these centaurs. But then for cover pages and once in awhile throughout the creator Cowsloveclover gives us these beautiful and breathtaking pages in full and vibrant colors. In traditional art! In markers and pen! From the backgrounds and word around them we see how things are left in this familiar but also unknown world. It's scary at times but also there is a sense of wonder as they travel along finding clues and items from a time before them. The world is still a beautiful place and has so much to offer for them. Nature has taken over so much, growing up and over buildings in a haunting but magical way. I love the style the characters are drawn in - from their outfits to their hair to their centaur forums. They are all unique and stand out in their own ways.
I enjoy the writing throughout "Under Sagittarius". As the characters speak to each other the word bubbles flow nicely and go along with the panels and art. At times Cowsloveclover's style takes over and we get thoughtful or dramatic pauses where the art and illustrations take over from the dialogue. Beautiful scenes that take over and ingulf you in such a positive way. Like I've mentioned earlier, there is a good amount of mystery to things. And it's that - among many other reasons - that I kept reading and want to learn more. How long will they continue on? What else will they find? Who else will they find? What will happen to their relationships? What else will we learn about them?
I highly recommend this series. In the world of Comic Fury I feel it could use some more fans and subscribers. It's one that I feel has a-lot of growth and opportunity. Check it out! I don't think you would be disappointed!
