(A minor note that I noticed that I think will help those who need to find these in the mess of journal entries I have on here - I'm going to number them! That should help if things may be confusing for some.)
Okay, I'm just going to start off that this feels like the perfect comic to do a review on for October! Also I have been reading it for some time now - so with those two reasons, let's get started!

We start off with the rules: Get a God to kill a God, Eat it's heart and then Receive the calendar in a dream.
The end of the world has basically come, slowly creeping up upon everyone and everything connected. It's only a matter of time.... with how dark, haunting and uncertain the start of our story starts off. It isn't until we see the terrible situation go down in the woods for some of the main cast that we can truly realize how this is effecting them on a personal level. They take up working and using their unusual abilities to fight the monsters that now haunt and threaten the world they live in. We get to see all sorts of personal experiences they go through, all at the same times of struggling with the work they are doing, while growing up, learning about themselves, each other.
Hollering Ghost is fantastic with their art, when I first discovered this comic I felt as if I was looking at a painting with how beautiful it is. I still feel that way. The strokes, shadows, effects, textures and even how they can handle the flow of conversation and speech bubbles is such a treat. I love the diverse cast of characters. The monsters, ghosts, spirits - just the feel of the supernatural feels very real to me. Their styles in clothes, hair and when they use their powers it is honestly something very original from what I have been exposed to on Comic Fury.
We get a dive into the confusing, stressful and unexpected lives of these characters and you can't help but feel for them and their struggles as the world around them is trying to stay together during this new chaotic time.
I highly recommend it if you enjoy horror, mystery and urban fantasy. And want to try something new. It's worth checking out!
