This comic is especially a special one! It comes from a husband and wife duo! Jack is the illustrator and Nomad is the author! Which is the first I have read and had the honor to experience.
So this story starts off with our main character, Becca who's hometown has a missing person problem... She is an adventurous young woman who is also an urban explorer. Which leads her to this abandoned theater, sneeking answers. I don't want to give much more away, but as the story unfolds and she learns more of this place and what lies ahead you won't want to stop reading. This was one of the first comics on CF that I started and had the joy of finishing.
Both Nomad and Jack truly shine in this creative wonderland of a world. The illustrated details, plot, realistic yet fantasy vibes you get while reading are enjoyable to put it simply. It almost felt as if I were watching a film, since it flowed so well. They work as an amazing team. At the end of the comic you'll get to read a lovely Q & A section on what inspired them to write the story, difficulties on their project, character information and advice for those who want to make a comic as a team with someone else.
I recommend this series to anyone who wants to try something new, spooky, interesting, beautiful and magical. It's not terribly long - long enough to keep you invested, you won't get bored and at the end you'll be happy you experienced it.
