#32 Dudesoft's "adventure's of BUN BO"!
Mar. 29th, 2024 08:36 pmLet's face facts, I feel like Dudesoft's "adventures of BUN BO" are under rated. There are so many great aspects of this comic and story that make it shine among other comics in the world of Comic Fury. With this series we get a superhero (an adorable superhero at that!), two best friends, exciting mysteries, cuteness overload, fun writing, a classic black and white style and plenty of room for growth. This one goes up in that category of those "feel good" comics I talk about sometimes in these reviews, where as you read it's just a happy, fun read. This little bunny Bun Bo will grow on you - for me it was the first page and seeing him make a snowman while singing about it.
At times Bun Bo can be very serious, silly, curious, loveable and ready for justice! He is quite the hero to follow along as he gets caught up in troubles of his own, solves mysteries and just lives his life day to day. Learning as he goes, I just couldn't help myself and root for him each time something goes down. His best friend, Mew Mew who is a giant Tiger is also equality adorable and a joy to read about. I enjoyed the writing, it is nicely laid out on the pages, with expressive sound effects to boost!
The art style that Dudesoft has is original. Pages are done with such emotions showing you just what the characters are thinking and feeling. It has just the right amount of details, the backgrounds are nicely done and I like the character designs. I greatly enjoyed their facial expressions. At times I experienced funny moments and also a bit surprising ones, all the while the art shining through! The comedy is perfect I felt, just enough to get a laugh out of us readers or even a smile. The world in which this story stakes place in certainly is creative. I felt like I was in the thick of it as I read along.
There are four comics among one that a group of artists created together, taking turns. I'm caught up with this creative story and looking forward to when more comes out. But in the meantime if you are new to this one, it'll give you plenty to binge in the meantime!
