#10 Gratefulness
Jan. 28th, 2025 08:27 pmOne thing I am very grateful for is my ability to be able to sleep soundly and most always get a good nights sleep. Waking up feeling rested seems like it's rare for most people. To me it just comes naturally almost every morning. Sometimes I wake feeling ready to start the day before my alarm goes off! I even love taking naps and find that's my biggest guilty pleasure. I just love sleep! Sometimes I do worry that maybe I am sleeping too much - I think there has been studies done on that but I can't recall what they said exactly just something about maybe how much too much sleep can be a bad thing, but in a weird way I'm not too worried about it. It can also be a way I deal with my depression - I just go take a nap. Which then I have reason to worry because it's not sleeping for healthy reasons, just because I'm sad and I don't want to deal with things. Now I do have days and times when my sleep isn't good and for that I take melatonin or use lavender oil. I'm not sure what else to add to this, but I thought it is important in my life. So there you go!
