Are you guys ready to make some dang web comics?! No..? Well are you ready to read about a group of colorful and fun loving ladies do it?! Well, lucky for you, you can do that and more in this interesting and what I would consider a new take on web comics.
That is where we start off in Killersteak's Comfur chan. And what better way to learn how to make webcomics than to go to a school to learn the art of the trade - so to speak! This brings us to Han Kyobert's webcomic academy. The main girl we follow from the start goes here with a passion in her heart, it's quite inspiring to see (I mean, she was made for this, but still.. it inspired me as I read- being new to comic fury and writing my own web comic) her go in with such excitement! There are four others who Comfur Chan meets and befriends along her web comic journey. They are bascailly personifications of some popular web comic hosting platforms. Each has their own goals they are striving for and their own different personalities. But they all sort of even each other out. It livens up the plot for sure!

As this adventure goes on, the girls find themselves in some whacky situations, some scary situations, will get you laughing at times and overall will just grow on you. From the start I couldn't help but love them as I read, but they all make an impression. I am curious to see how their futures go. They seem to have a-lot to accomplish!

The artwork is fun and pleasant to look at as I was reading. All of the colors and linework are done nicely and I can't go further without saying how well Killersteak has mastered body language and facial expressions! It makes for a lively read. I think it gives the characters a more realistic feel, seeing them move and react to the world around them so freely. And all of the chan's have their own distinct style. From their clothes, to their hair - you can tell that Killersteak has put some good planning into each one. Also the backgrounds are enjoying, with some small yet surprising details. The conversations read smoothly, even the sound effects work well with a typical but fun comic feeling flare.

"Comfur Chan" has a pretty decent fanbase but if you haven't tried reading it, I think you should give it a try. In the world of web comics (if you are creating your own or just reading them for enjoyment), I think everyone could learn a thing or two from these gals!
