I got to watch the solar Eclipse this past Monday and it was fantastic! It was about 3:15 ish here in North East Ohio when we got to see it. My boyfriend Mike and I were on a walk playing Pokemon Go and figured we'd watch it as we went. We were here in my hometown and as we walked around it was nice seeing neighbors and others around town just hanging out in their yards or downtown watching. A pretty calming environment. I kept hearing how some places were going to be packed so I was happy to stay in this small town and watch it.

My favorite part was when the sun was completely covered up! Everything got dark, colder and sort of spooky. Certain insects were making noises but besides some other noises, everything was pretty much quite. It's amazing what a few minutes without sun can do!

Wearing my glasses and trying to use the Eclipse glasses was sort of difficult. But I just held them up to my regular ones and it worked out fine. Did any of you get to see it? If you guys watched it, what did yo enjoy?

In this fun filled web comic series we to follow along as Jennifer Alina gets transformed into a toon and must tackle all sorts of problems with Vammpy & her other human turned toon friends inside this strange, new cartoon world! in "Jetlina's Adventures", Joshystar has made a likeable cast of creative and colorful characters that we get to see in all sorts of situations - both good and bad! This is a series that I could see the growth in not only from the author themselves but from the character development throughout and still going strong.

I think my favorite thing I've experienced from this story is all of the whacky and different character designs. The characters in their toon forms are fun, original and show how talented Joshystar is as an artist. This is a style I'm happy to read this story in, it feels like the right for a story about toons in a toon world. We get to see all sorts of designs. And even better in all sorts of different scenes! Like fights, with different kinds of perspective that help make you feel like you are right there in the action. Even the main bad guy of the story has a wicked design, truly spooky in a way I enjoy quite a bit.
The facial expressions are also done with such talent, they get the emotion down perfectly. From being excited, to panicked to sad - we get to see them all and nicely done. Also I have to mention the colors and the textures throughout. It's a good touch, especially with the backgrounds.
There is a "tooned in remake" that is where the story is redone in a newer style, I got to read this after I read the first one posted up. And in it you can see a positive difference with Joshystar's art style, with the quality being being better.

The writing is at a good pace. There are all sorts of different characters that get changed into toons. With their reactions to these situations being hard felt. You get attached to some of them as they go through the motions of this new change. All of the chapters are at a good length as you read along. The cover pages give you a good idea what Jet and her friends may have to tackle next! When sound effects happen, I feel like they fit the scenes well. The bits of comedy are enjoyable and I like how the dialogue fits around the panels and pages. It doesn't take away from the art.

If you are looking for a new comic to enjoy and something different I recommend this one!
