I think this was my first slice of life webcomic I've read on Comic Fury, and it stands alone in it's own for a few qualities:

First off for the beautiful art, Justeatsalmon draws with an original style of their characters. The eyes show such expression and I think are my favorite part when it comes to their design. Also their mouths and facial expressions are adorable. The colors are easy on the eyes, the backgrounds pleasant and calmly. There is a good variety of backgrounds - their dorm rooms, the classrooms, the school itself and outside of class. So you won't get bored with where the story takes you. At different points throughout the webcomic we get some fun perspectives which is refreshing, too.

When it comes to the writing it is simple but keeps course. We get to meet two very opposite characters named Devon and Elliott who become roommates and friends. Plus the rest of the cast has their interesting qualities as well. They all have their own fun personalities and it's nice seeing them all interact with each other. The dialog is fun and nicely placed about on the pages. It's a nice touch having different colors for each character with their dialog.

This webcomic covers topics like LGBTQIA (with a non-binary character, too) as well as having a character who has a disability and we get to learn about that. I personally liked this since I feel like comics that have a disabled character are few and far between. I feel like LGBTQIA stories are getting more common, but I still have much respect for them. And "Everyday being me" is done in such a way that it's not in your face, but there and it's comfortable in doing so. I feel like the cast has a good variety of characters.

I image this comic is the sort that pretty much anyone could find themselves enjoying. There is also a French version! So if you want to dive into that, it's also an option for you! So far Justeatsalmon has three episodes up, so there is enough to binge. If you are looking for something new and different in the land of Comic Fury I think you should give "Everyday being me" a chance.

So after some serious thought over the last few months I have made the decision to get a betta fish.

This will take some planning - since the last time I did it (back in 2017ish I recall?) I didn't have the knowledge that I have been gaining over the last week or so. For example the filter I had was too strong of one (It was probably too strong of a current in the tank) and this time around I will get a sponge filter. Which is easier for them. Also I am going to get the one a good variety of food this time around - they like any living thing - is healthier with a well rounded diet. I may get a different heater, too. There are a number of other things I will be learning about and plan on getting within the next month. I already have a ten gallon tank, so that part is covered at least.

Anyway, I just wanted to fill you guys in on this new development in my life. I'm excited to have a fish companion again. They really are sweet and relaxing.
