Pokemon Go

So this has become my new favorite pastime! I started playing about two weeks ago for the first time. It's been a good stress reliver (When I'm not getting stressed at how difficult some of the pokemon are to catch! :-P), especially with how everything has been lately. It gives me a good excuse to go on walks now that the weather is nice again and something new to enjoy in life that almost makes me feel like a kid again. I just thought I'd write about this for a bit.

Fun fact: the character design for Rex "Sneakers" Squirrel from Sneakers' U-Force was inspired by Pikachu -- to date that Pokemon is STILL the cutest fictional animal-like character I've seen. I totally fell in love with that little critter in 6th grade, and though I'm not as much into Pokemon as I was back then, occasionally I get kinda woozy whenever I see it getting pumped up or doing some random adorable thing.

The last episode of the anime I saw featured Ash's Pikachu meeting another Pokemon named Buneary; that episode confirmed Pikachu was a male, and that for a majority of the rest of that season, the female Buneary had the hots for him from the get go -- it grew from a crush to a full-on obsession, much to Pikachu's annoyance.

Cuteness overload, that episode... 🤣

Oh yeah! I remember you telling me about that! I do find Pikachu super cute, too. But I have a soft spot for the chubby pink ones! :-p I think Chansey is my favorite.

Aww, I'll have to look up that episode sometime. I sort of miss watching the anime. Playing Pokemon Go has had me enjoying it all over again. If you are ever looking for a new game to try out walking and catching pokemon, I highly suggest it. I mean, there is much more to it - but yeah, it's been a good time! :)
