This wonderfully surprising comic I stumbled upon one day while sharing my comic pages in the forum to share the newest image of your comic. It caught me off guard, the characters, the action happening on the page, the colors, sound effects... I wanted to find out more, so I happily subscribed! And as I read more and more I was glad I did, this comic continues to surprise me.

There is some good mystery and suspense with "Secras". Teles has done a great job capturing characters that make you wonder where they came from and their past but also curious to see where they end up going, the journey involved. I feel like this series has a good fantasy feel but also touches on some realistic topics, too. It's a good mix. The plot is that our main characters, the heroes if you will - need to find legendary "Secras". It's an artifact that can either decide to save the world or destroy it. So you can see the pressure the characters have. But along the way there are a good variety of characters to keep us readers smiling and laughing. It's the humor throughout the series that captured my attention. Not only do we get serious, dark, violent moments but we get some lighthearted ones, too.

The artwork throughout can't go without mentioning! It's digital. As I read throughout I felt like I was there, a part of the story as it was being told. Teles has a talent for making some fantastic scenes, with beautiful backgrounds. Because it's a fantasy themed comic, there are all sorts of creatures, different plants, landscapes and the like. With every click to the next page I was looking forward to what would capture me next. The digital effects are breathtaking. All sorts of things happen from fights, to travels to resting along the way. And the details with everything are impressive.
The characters and their designs are likable, too. They are expressive, fun and bring everything to life.

"Secras" is pretty popular, but with good reason. I am happily all caught up now and looking forward to what happens next. I think if you haven't read it yet, it's worth checking out and who knows - it may capture you, too!

This comic feels like a gem among the world of online comics I read these days. This is a web comic you can read any day, any time and it just gets you. Or you get it. It feels just right. "Tangentville" goes places at such a comfortable pace, you get a taste of all the characters at different points of their journey so they are still familiar with us and it doesn't feel like you skipped a beat. And gosh, I have to add the collection of the cast is very diverse. We have witches, aliens, cyrtids, humans, sea creatures, zombies, superheroes, villains, animals, goblins, genies, death, mermaids, ninjas, robots.... I feel like I may be missing some. But that's for you dear future reader to find out for yourself!

Like I mentioned earlier, each character is on their own path for self discovery. It's amazing the characters have so much growth as they do. I wasn't sure what to expect when I first started reading this interesting series, but I am always pleasantly surprised when I read several pages. The creativity that KidCthulhu gives to their comic and characters shows no slowing down. The characters are in all different age groups which makes it a nice change of pace. Different situations arise for them to get through, figure out a new chapter in their lives, learn about themselves, help others and overall just evolve into more in depth characters. They truly grow on you. At first there may be a small handful that I was cautious about but after a few different developments happen and things change for the better - they grew on me more and more. Now I love characters I had little interest in months ago.

The writing is also witty! The jokes are on spot. Sometimes the series takes a serious turn and other times it goes in the opposite direction with being enjoyably funny.
Each page are usually just four panels, which makes the reading simple to understand. It's a nice layout my eyes have gotten used to and is comfortable to keep up with. And the text is the same style and size which also comfortable. It all fits nicely together.

"Tangentville" is all in black and white. It's line work is crisp and clear. With it being black and white it feels like a good, solid break from some of the bright comics on comic fury. The artwork is special, the characters are so different from each other and all drawn with nice details but still being in a simple enough but pleasant design. As the comic continues on, there are so many different environments to experience. It just goes to show how talented KidCthulhu is. Some of my favorites being the deep sea creatures and mermaids.

I still have a good bit to read and get caught up on. But that's what makes this comic so nice. I feel like I can read a few pages if I have 5 minutes or 30 minutes. It's one I'm always in the mood for. And I feel like you could be if you give it a try and check it out!

My fist take away from reading "Hawk and Flo Adventures" by HeaddyPigeon4180 was how original it felt. As I was reading along, looking at the art and stinking into the story, I couldn't help but feel I was now a part of a creative story that stands in it's own - apart from the rest in a way that stays with you. It's comics like this one that I have been exposed to on CF that inspire me and I'm sure others. I feel that "Hawk and Flo Adventures!" takes new twists and turns in a style all of it's own. After I would read it and then go back to my day I couldn't help think of all the vibrant art, the plot and the characters.

The two main cast of this fun comic are the sibling team Hawk and Flo! In the fist bit of comic we see they take on an evil ice cream truck that is causing trouble wherever it may go across the solar system. They tackle this head on with others from their team Lacy and this adorable little monkey (I will find out the name soon). They have ambition!

I have to say the art style is it's own style. From how the dialogue fits around on the pages, to the characters, the backgrounds, the colors and sound effects - it's pretty cool to read through this one! Even through some moments are dark and scary, the colors are still bright and that gives it sort of a scarier feel since things can happen so quickly for Hawk and Flo. But they handle it like the legendary heroes they say they are! Even their outfits are pretty cool, colorful and easily their own - they fit Hawk and Flow nicely. I like how they are illustrated, too. Their big, expressive eyes and beaks plus their feet - it's an enjoyable design for them both.
The fights are action packed and like everything else very colorful! With this comic the bad guys are truly evil the first few fights seems difficult but not impossible for our feathered friends. Some parts of the scenes are done from different angles and view points which are a fun treat for the eyes. I like those quite a bit.

HeaddyPidgen writes this comic with emotion! Some of the situations that happen later on with Hawk and Flow and a sad blast from the past and I wasn't expecting it at all. But it gave them more character development and it was nice to learn more of their background. As I read along I was cheering for these two siblings more and more. Not only were they the heroes along with their team of Lacy and the monkey, but they became characters you felt deserved to win and carry on. I'm curious to see how the rest of the comic series will go on. I still have some to get caught up on soon. But there is so much to binge and enjoy. I recommend it!

This comic comes with emotion and depth. Darkness and mystery. Characters you are curious about. The landscape and backgrounds pull you in. A storyline that has a-lot to unfold.

The details with the art are wonderful. From rain coming down to the sun rising up among the sea capture you on a personal level. Porkrzyk's character designs are creative, realistic and original. Their eyes, fur, clothes and bodies feel realistic. As we see more of the characters and the world, I felt like I fit right in. And the styles change at times, but all in a comfortable way. The backgrounds feel like a painting. How the colors and textures just blend, it gives a soft feel. Even the lights and shadows are beautiful, making the pages stand out all the more.
When Porkrzyk draws animals like rats, squirrels and birds they are done realistically, fitting in nicely with everything else this story has to often. It's a good blend for the landscape that they live in.
When moments go dark in the comic, things truly go dark! And it's pretty unexpected but is a nice surprise. This is what causes the story to deepen and we are left with questions for the main characters and where life will take them.

The stories of the legend are done in a story book style that I loved to see between what was actually happening, it felt like I was reading from an actual book. The crisp linework and simple designs work well for explain the dark past. It makes for a good background for what we may experience later on.
And the cover pages for the chapters are fun, too. Done in a similar style - it's a nice break from the current art in the story.

I enjoyed the text used throughout the comic. It fit nicely.
Currently there are three chapters to read and enjoy. There is still more to come, I'm all caught up and gladly looking forward to the next update. This is one I'm sure a-lot of you would enjoy and should check out.

Zarzaliel's webcomic "NIL Canticum Bellum" is pretty popular, but it's easy to see after reading this ongoing and gorgeous masterpiece of a story. If you are looking for something new to try reading, I recommend diving into this series!

This story takes place far into the future, in 2072. The world is a very different place that it is now. What starts as someone finding a lost dog and needs to return him to the owner turns into an intense and thrilling twist of fate as they join a group of insurgent characters. As a whole, all of the cast of characters, both good and bad - and the grey areas in between are quite interesting. Some are intriguing, some have an air of mystery to them while others give you the feeling you would be comfortable in real life with them. Icon, the dog is likable and intelligent. But even he has some mystery to him.

It can be noticed easily enough from the first page you see, but this comic is drawn with such talent and beauty. My first thoughts were if the creator Zazaliel was a professional. And in my honest opinion they are! The art captures you like nothing else. The colors, the effects, shadows, angles, textures... they are filled with powerful emotion. I was blown away with just the art alone with this one! And that's not even to mention the storytelling and plot that captures you as well. My experience with reading "NIL Canticum Bellum" was that the art transports you into this world. It's an exciting feeling that is truly like no other comic I have read to date. At times it even gives off a trippy vibe which works nicely for what may be going down during that time. The fights are incredible, with special powers, rage and passion. And I must add the backgrounds make you feel as if you have been to such places, I feel this is a strength of Zaraliel's storytelling ability.

I feel like the art also goes into the topic of how the plot and story are presented. How the dialog flows with the pages and from scene to scene - it feels almost like you are watching this directly in front of you and not just from a screen. It all feels so natural as the events in this story unfold.
With all of these reviews I don't like to give out spoilers, so I won't add in too much detail but the story shows us more depth as it goes on. Many subjects are touched on - from worldly issues to personal issues, things get more more serious and dark with each page.

I should also note that you can buy a physical copy of this comic if that's more your speed:

In this fun filled web comic series we to follow along as Jennifer Alina gets transformed into a toon and must tackle all sorts of problems with Vammpy & her other human turned toon friends inside this strange, new cartoon world! in "Jetlina's Adventures", Joshystar has made a likeable cast of creative and colorful characters that we get to see in all sorts of situations - both good and bad! This is a series that I could see the growth in not only from the author themselves but from the character development throughout and still going strong.

I think my favorite thing I've experienced from this story is all of the whacky and different character designs. The characters in their toon forms are fun, original and show how talented Joshystar is as an artist. This is a style I'm happy to read this story in, it feels like the right for a story about toons in a toon world. We get to see all sorts of designs. And even better in all sorts of different scenes! Like fights, with different kinds of perspective that help make you feel like you are right there in the action. Even the main bad guy of the story has a wicked design, truly spooky in a way I enjoy quite a bit.
The facial expressions are also done with such talent, they get the emotion down perfectly. From being excited, to panicked to sad - we get to see them all and nicely done. Also I have to mention the colors and the textures throughout. It's a good touch, especially with the backgrounds.
There is a "tooned in remake" that is where the story is redone in a newer style, I got to read this after I read the first one posted up. And in it you can see a positive difference with Joshystar's art style, with the quality being being better.

The writing is at a good pace. There are all sorts of different characters that get changed into toons. With their reactions to these situations being hard felt. You get attached to some of them as they go through the motions of this new change. All of the chapters are at a good length as you read along. The cover pages give you a good idea what Jet and her friends may have to tackle next! When sound effects happen, I feel like they fit the scenes well. The bits of comedy are enjoyable and I like how the dialogue fits around the panels and pages. It doesn't take away from the art.

If you are looking for a new comic to enjoy and something different I recommend this one!

Imagine one minute you are at a cool concert with your good friend and then after that friend transforms into this magical giantess to fight this scary giant bird shadow monster! This is the unexpected situation we find Tess Durban in within the first few pages of this exciting comic! Things just keep getting stranger for her throughout the story, so buckle up - it's going to be a fun ride! There is some nudity and drug use/mention in this one, so a fair warning to those who are sensitive to those things. I feel "Tess Durban" has comedy, action, suspense, adventure and mystery all in one beautiful and fun story.

As I read along this comic I felt it to be original in it's own way, but also it has a sense of being professional in a sense. With the layout, character designs and way the pages flow - I felt like I was reading something on a higher level with quality. It's well written, I felt the pacing was just right with a good amount of laughs both from the dialog and from the characters with their expressions. It's not a complicated or confusing comic. Tess is a great main character to follow along with throughout the series. She's smart, able to hold her own in difficult situations and has a sense of character development that I look up to.

When it comes to the art, Reinder Dijkuis has a fun style. Even the background characters are filled with detail, a sort of story to tell about them in a sense. There are moments where we get realistic moments from the scenes and then a sort of whacky, fun cartoony moment pops up. And it's a joy when this happens, a pleasant surprise. The characters have nice proportions, especially since some of them are naked a good amount of time. At the end of some of the chapters we have a fun little page that is titled "coming soon" that gives us a creative hint of what's in store with the next chapter! I like those! The line work is crisp and the backgrounds give us a good amount of details. Even the buildings are nicely done! When it comes to the action and fighting moments of "Tess Durban", those are filled with excitement!

I felt like the author put a-lot of creativity and thought into this story. I'm happily caught up with it and if you want to check it out there is a good amount to binge and enjoy in the meantime!

Let's face facts, I feel like Dudesoft's "adventures of BUN BO" are under rated. There are so many great aspects of this comic and story that make it shine among other comics in the world of Comic Fury. With this series we get a superhero (an adorable superhero at that!), two best friends, exciting mysteries, cuteness overload, fun writing, a classic black and white style and plenty of room for growth. This one goes up in that category of those "feel good" comics I talk about sometimes in these reviews, where as you read it's just a happy, fun read. This little bunny Bun Bo will grow on you - for me it was the first page and seeing him make a snowman while singing about it.

At times Bun Bo can be very serious, silly, curious, loveable and ready for justice! He is quite the hero to follow along as he gets caught up in troubles of his own, solves mysteries and just lives his life day to day. Learning as he goes, I just couldn't help myself and root for him each time something goes down. His best friend, Mew Mew who is a giant Tiger is also equality adorable and a joy to read about. I enjoyed the writing, it is nicely laid out on the pages, with expressive sound effects to boost!

The art style that Dudesoft has is original. Pages are done with such emotions showing you just what the characters are thinking and feeling. It has just the right amount of details, the backgrounds are nicely done and I like the character designs. I greatly enjoyed their facial expressions. At times I experienced funny moments and also a bit surprising ones, all the while the art shining through! The comedy is perfect I felt, just enough to get a laugh out of us readers or even a smile. The world in which this story stakes place in certainly is creative. I felt like I was in the thick of it as I read along.

There are four comics among one that a group of artists created together, taking turns. I'm caught up with this creative story and looking forward to when more comes out. But in the meantime if you are new to this one, it'll give you plenty to binge in the meantime!

In this comic we have the joy of reading about the "almost true" adventures of Jack Bauer, an adorable, funny, sweet, exciting, smart and curious dachshund and his best friend. It's one of those comics I feel anyone can read regardless of their mood. There isn't an exact plot to keep up with. Just these different daily antics of these two. Which is all you need at the end of the day! It's the perfect recipe for a web comic! "The Flying Dachshund" has made me smile, think about life and my past fur & fin babies and feel while I read it. I would put it in a "Feel good" sort of category.

As the comic progresses, we get to see some cool animations and the art gets more detailed. But overall it is simple, easy to read and follow. Which is very refreshing compared to some of the intense comics I keep up with! It's a few panels to a page for a quick little story of what's going down. But I greatly enjoy the art style. It feels original and honestly fits quite well with the story and this feeling of comic. I felt like most of the comics were funny, some were heartfelt of actual memories or things that Jack truly loved. Or even things and experiences that Jack didn't like!

"The Flying Dachshund" has heart, keeping the memory of this sweet boy alive through these comics. To me, this is a genius idea. To share these adventures of true and almost true stories of Jack for us to enjoy has been such a gem of a comic in the world of Comic Fury. I'm glad I stumbled upon it. It's a bittersweet feeling as the author gives us tidbits about him and his old buddy in the author comments under the comics and why he wrote him, what inspired them. These insights give us an idea of how much Jack meant to the author and those around him. It's a special kind of comic for sure! I'm happily caught up. I feel like everyone should check out this comic! I highly recommend it!

It's got action! It's got comedy! It's got mystery! It's got suspense! It's got some romance! It's got magic! It's set in a fantasy world! These are just some of the exciting things that await you when you decide to read and experience "Arkin Blade" by GuyPercinn! This special webcomic has the feel of an actual show to me, as I read it I could easily see this becoming an animated show someday. The chapters - or episodes as they are called - give you just enough to enjoy for that section and sometimes a jaw dropping cliff hanger that makes you want to read the next chapter right away! "Arkin Blade" is well written, spaced out and I feel gives the readers a fun and different take on an adventure series.

The cast is a very colorful one, full of differences yet they are able to find common ground and work together in some of the strangest problems they come across. They all come from different backgrounds and walks of life. One of the main characters, Fang is as tough and rough as they come. Fighting anything that stands in her way, with a hungry appetite that never slows down and a good air of mystery that surrounds her. Then there are other fun cast members like Leon, G'nurka and Okra. Some of the issues and problems these characters face as well as others are deep and made me feel quite a bit for them as I read and learned more of their struggles. GuyPercinn knows how to create a likeable cast!

When it comes to action and fighting scenes, GuyPercinn knows exactly what they are doing! The perspectives and angles give you that feeling of being right in the thick of some of the most intense and powerful fights you've seen in a webcomic! From the weapons and magic the characters use to the poses they are in, this alone is a real treat to see. The illustrations are full of life and excitement as you'll see.
And that makes me want to go on about the art! The artwork is absolutely amazing! I especially liked the character designs. All of the different shapes, sizes and colors of these characters is so much fun. The facial expressions and body language is spot on with what they are going through in that moment. The cities, towns, villages, forests, caves, bodies of water they explore are all done in a cool style. It's pleasant to say the least.

Take my word for it, "Akrin Blade" is a comic you won't want to miss! I highly recommend it!

https://invincea.cfw.me/comics/1/

"Invincea and the warriors from Hell" is one of those webcomics that accomplishes so much over the time you start it to several chapters in. It has the story telling talent down, beautiful art that captures you, characters that grow on you with each page and a plot that keeps getting better each chapter. I found myself drawn into this world and those in it so easily. Doodstormer's series is quite popular and has every right to be.

We start off finding out the sad fate of Invincea as a baby, who was orphaned, mute and left to die deep in the woods one freezing cold night. But somehow she is found, adopted, cared for, loved and accepted. I don't like to give away too many spoilers in these short, positive reviews but I just wanted to say this made me truly happy. It's moments like this that make the story of Invincea so special. During her younger years she is sort of an outcast, but I feel in a way this makes her all the more a stronger and independent soul. She grows up and some truly terrible things then take place for her once more and her life completely changes. But all the while she survives and meets some wonderful and caring friends. A group of misfits, but some of the best misfits you could find honestly... They travel together and help others along the way. There are even bits of some possible romantic feelings that leaves us readers curious to see how things will go for those who are involved! With Invincea, since she is a mute she has creative ways to show others what she needs to. Either from a sort of sign language or this chalk board she carries around. It can be comical at times. It truly is an original tale with some tasteful comedy at times, emotional moments, action packed and a sense of wonder as the story goes further and further.

Doodstormer's art throughout "Invincea and the warriors of Hell" is excellent. It's clean cut and fresh, the colors stunning as we see different seasons and places they explore. From deep down in caves, to small villages - it's all exciting. All of it is breathtaking and refreshing. I especially like the character designs. All sorts of creatures are in this series as well as animals. I like the variety of sizes and shapes of all the characters, that makes things fun and different. When it comes to the action and fighting scenes, Doodstormer really creates an intensity with those parts. The pacing is nice and easy to understand, things aren't rushed in this comic. As a reader I felt like the pacing was good. Even the dialog was fun, the way the word bubbles would go about the pages with the characters conversations.

So if you'd like to check out something new and fresh I highly recommend this series. There is plenty to binge and keep you satisfied!

"Ikon" has many elements in it that I wasn't expecting in one comic series! It's a pleasant surprise! I'm 4 chapters in this interesting tale that is inspired by Judeo-Christian Book of Tobit, the book Comrade Criminal by Stephen Handelman, Balto-Slavic pagan mythology, and the movies Брат and Брат II.
This is a bit of a heavy one, so without too many warnings I want to let you know this series has: crime, violence, death, the afterlife, witchcraft, the mafia, art smuggling and mythology (among some other dark themed goodies). All of the darkness that surrounds the characters of "Ikon" make it all the more appealing, in my honest option. Here we meet Aleks, who is a counterfeiter in order to make enough money to support his parents. He gets caught up with the mafia who he works for. And then we also have quite another character named Azariah who is an undead psychopomp (someone who conducts souls to the afterlife). He wants to reconnect with his adoptive, troubled son. These two find each other through an art smuggler that eventually will lead them to go on a dangerous trip through eastern Europe through Russia, Ukraine to Hungry. If that isn't a plot to get your attention and curiosity going, I don't know what will!

MissElaney's art shines brightly throughout. Everything from the buildings to the characters is all realistic. It's colorful and has a certain charm to it. As I read throughout the series I loved seeing tiny details like shadows and light in different scenes. They experiment with different angles that give you different perspectives on the scenes. How MissElaney illustrates all sorts of creatures from crows to other magical species is quite impressive, from the details of their fur, feathers, horns and claws - it is all beautiful in it's own haunting way. I have to note that I loved the crows in this story, having them come around was a fun perk.

One minor note that got me interested in this series to start with was finding out it has a hard of hearing character in it. This is the first web comic that has discussed and introduced a character with HOH. Some of you may know that about me, but I have been HOH since I was born and having it in movies, shows, books, ect. is few and far between. But the attention and thought behind it in "Ikon" with this character is like nothing I would have experienced. As others talk the words inside the speech bubbles blur and smear. And it visually represents how it feels in real situations. Getting frustrated, anxious and upset by not being able to hear what is going around you is a feeling that is hard to express, but MissElaney got it done perfectly. I found this touching and an important addition to the already fantastic story that "Ikon" is. I highly recommend this series, like I said earlier there are 4 chapters to enjoy and binge. Give it a try, I'm sure you will see why it is as popular as it is!

Besides my boyfriend's comics here on Comic Fury, I went a short bit without subscribing to anything. Chopythes' "Heritage" was the first one I started reading because it caught my eye and I'm glad I decided to read it. A detective fantasy web comic!

Two best friends named Samuel Qruint and Timothy Tell who are on pretty opposite sides of things. Each chapter goes through different periods for the characters and those connected to them. Sam is a mystery throughout what I've read so far but that makes it intriguing to find out more about their character and past. And Tim has depth to him, too. Some terribly heartbreaking things happen in this series. But also good as we explore the past and present. We get demons, mystery, shapeshifting, dark secrets, death, an ongoing search, magic, glimpses into the past, chance meetings and so much more with each chapter.

The art of "Heritage" is beautiful, in black and white with different textures. We do get some bits of this comic in color (for an interesting little flashback!) and when we do it is also beautiful. Giving off an effect of what a painting looks like with a softness and a certain texture to it. The character designs are fun and different. I like how they have a cartoony look to them, but are still realistic in their own way. With good facial expressions and body language, it's easy to tell when and what they may be going through. When there is action and fighting it is done with grace and a sense of style. As I read my way through there were dramatic pauses and parts of the story where just a single image showed us readers what happened and that spoke volumes to me. The emotion put into this comic is nicely done.

So if you are looking for something new and creative to check out you should give Chopythes' "Heritage" a try. I feel like it's pretty binge worthy, with 8 chapters/sections up!

https://ashfacesdaughter.thecomicseries.com/comics/first

BMR has created such a detailed and engaging story with "Ashface's daughter". I feel it falls in-between the categories of popular and under-rated, if that makes sense. The readers who know it understand what an original web comic it is. But those who haven't read this series are missing out. If you haven't heard about it - I will give you my brief, positive review of why I think you should give it a try.

In this web comic we follow a young girl named Anna who is Ashface's daughter, a mysterious character we see in bits and pieces and slowly will learn more about as the story unfolds. Anna is mouthy, sarcastic, a quick learner and pretty brave - being put in some life threating situations and holding her own quite well for a girl her age. We also get a diverse group of other characters who all play an important role in some way or another. Some start out as bad guys, but are turning their lives around and other still remain bad (in secret!). Other characters are supporting characters but they still contribute to the story greatly. I feel that BMR did made up a cast of characters that come from vastly different lifestyles and seeing them interact together has been a treat. We have a well rounded group of characters who makeup the village where Anna lives in, it's called Pagat Or.

The art is all digital. It's beautiful to look at, being in a 3D style I haven't seen yet with a web comic. From the trees to the buildings to the character's outfits to the hairstyles we get all sorts of details. BMR did a wonderful job of catching the character's expressions and body language in such a way because of the unique 3D style - it gives you the feeling the characters are brought to life. If you are easily confused with who is on what page - what their name is - each page has the characters with their name and name listed at the end of it. That is very useful, since there is a large cast.
The variety of perspective is fun, too. There are some great action and fighting scenes where I felt like I was right there along with what was happening. As I read along and became ingulfed in this story, I felt like I was in this fantasy, medieval time period. It truly takes you somewhere else!

Also we get a-lot of added information from the author themselves. That is both interesting and helpful as some of what goes down in "Ashface's daughter" may not be understood by everyone who reads it. BMR tells about the process the art took (which by what I have learned about it - it is a process and at times can be quite difficult!), research that was done, explains about the character's powers and abilities for example. Some fun added bits of "Ashface's daughter " I enjoy are that each chapter starts with "The" in the the tile and also each chapter is 32 pages long. There is also a detailed page on all the races in the series! From different kinds of humans we also learn about Orcs, different kinds of elves, goblins, liches, werewolves, spider folks... the list goes on! It's impressive this world has so much to offer and I'm pleased with each new introduction of these creative characters. I am not quite caught up - I'm on chapter 18 and have been slowly catching up. Take some time and give yourself a break to enjoy this amazing web comic, I'm sure you'll be happy with the suggestion.

I think this was my first slice of life webcomic I've read on Comic Fury, and it stands alone in it's own for a few qualities:

First off for the beautiful art, Justeatsalmon draws with an original style of their characters. The eyes show such expression and I think are my favorite part when it comes to their design. Also their mouths and facial expressions are adorable. The colors are easy on the eyes, the backgrounds pleasant and calmly. There is a good variety of backgrounds - their dorm rooms, the classrooms, the school itself and outside of class. So you won't get bored with where the story takes you. At different points throughout the webcomic we get some fun perspectives which is refreshing, too.

When it comes to the writing it is simple but keeps course. We get to meet two very opposite characters named Devon and Elliott who become roommates and friends. Plus the rest of the cast has their interesting qualities as well. They all have their own fun personalities and it's nice seeing them all interact with each other. The dialog is fun and nicely placed about on the pages. It's a nice touch having different colors for each character with their dialog.

This webcomic covers topics like LGBTQIA (with a non-binary character, too) as well as having a character who has a disability and we get to learn about that. I personally liked this since I feel like comics that have a disabled character are few and far between. I feel like LGBTQIA stories are getting more common, but I still have much respect for them. And "Everyday being me" is done in such a way that it's not in your face, but there and it's comfortable in doing so. I feel like the cast has a good variety of characters.

I image this comic is the sort that pretty much anyone could find themselves enjoying. There is also a French version! So if you want to dive into that, it's also an option for you! So far Justeatsalmon has three episodes up, so there is enough to binge. If you are looking for something new and different in the land of Comic Fury I think you should give "Everyday being me" a chance.

Are you guys ready to make some dang web comics?! No..? Well are you ready to read about a group of colorful and fun loving ladies do it?! Well, lucky for you, you can do that and more in this interesting and what I would consider a new take on web comics.
That is where we start off in Killersteak's Comfur chan. And what better way to learn how to make webcomics than to go to a school to learn the art of the trade - so to speak! This brings us to Han Kyobert's webcomic academy. The main girl we follow from the start goes here with a passion in her heart, it's quite inspiring to see (I mean, she was made for this, but still.. it inspired me as I read- being new to comic fury and writing my own web comic) her go in with such excitement! There are four others who Comfur Chan meets and befriends along her web comic journey. They are bascailly personifications of some popular web comic hosting platforms. Each has their own goals they are striving for and their own different personalities. But they all sort of even each other out. It livens up the plot for sure!

As this adventure goes on, the girls find themselves in some whacky situations, some scary situations, will get you laughing at times and overall will just grow on you. From the start I couldn't help but love them as I read, but they all make an impression. I am curious to see how their futures go. They seem to have a-lot to accomplish!

The artwork is fun and pleasant to look at as I was reading. All of the colors and linework are done nicely and I can't go further without saying how well Killersteak has mastered body language and facial expressions! It makes for a lively read. I think it gives the characters a more realistic feel, seeing them move and react to the world around them so freely. And all of the chan's have their own distinct style. From their clothes, to their hair - you can tell that Killersteak has put some good planning into each one. Also the backgrounds are enjoying, with some small yet surprising details. The conversations read smoothly, even the sound effects work well with a typical but fun comic feeling flare.

"Comfur Chan" has a pretty decent fanbase but if you haven't tried reading it, I think you should give it a try. In the world of web comics (if you are creating your own or just reading them for enjoyment), I think everyone could learn a thing or two from these gals!

I feel like it's pretty oblivious but I should get the elephant out of the room (its a bit cramped up here and they may break through my floor!) but if nudity bothers you or makes you uncomfortable then maybe reading "Kaza's mate, Gwenna" would be a hard pill to swallow. But if you are fine with various characters in the nude, then step right up because what Jay042 has created is a masterpiece.

The evolution of this comic has taken a few different twists and turns. We start it off with a classic, old school comic book feel. It started being posted on Comic Fury back in 2010, but maybe Jay042 had these pages already created, I'm not sure. Regardless, since I have been reading and playing catch up it's been such a treat seeing the art style change, the development between the characters and themselves and the writing continue to get better. It is a comic well known, respected and enjoyed in the comic fury community.

So we get a good collection of characters who help support each other, are long time enemies, allies or just strangers who end up meeting along all of the different adventures that Kaza and Gwenna end up on. The main ones being Gwenna, who left her life as a socialite in the big city to join the man she loves - her partner through thick and thin - Kaza, who is The jungle Lord. The commissioner and Nula play a large role with our heroes, too. There are some heavy moments between the characters and it can truly make you think about life, the ups and downs of it and how your decisions can effect the future. I don't like to give away spoiler with these reviews, but I find myself at times thinking of this comic and some of these conversations and characters because they have left me doing just that - thinking! Trying to put myself in some of their shoes. They truly are an in depth cast.

I feel the need to add the action and fight scenes are nothing less than amazing, too. With excellent views and angles - you feel right in the thick of what's happening. Jay042 draws professionally, capturing the backgrounds perfectly. One minute you'll be reading and getting all the vibes from being in a thick, wild jungle and the next you are in a city with skyscrapers and buildings. The details are fun and set the stage for where you'll end up at as you read along! "Kaza's mate Gwenna" takes us on such a wild ride (especially for them!) and get to enjoy it all in this one series. There are sprinkles of comedy, too. Also the dialogue reads wonderfully, with conversations that have the right pauses. I like how the word bubbles aren't all in one, but flow around the page and make for a good read.

So all in all - I think you guys should give this one a try. There's a-lot of good material to enjoy and binge! Even the crossovers and exchanges are there to enjoy if you like that sort of thing! Jay042 has been in a good number of them!

When I first started this web comic several months ago I wasn't sure what I was getting into. I knew it was a pretty popular one by the numbers on it's page, but I was curious to know what a comic that was titled cryptida could be all about. And what a comic it is - this is by far one of the most detailed and creative comics I've been keeping up with. With each chapter I am impressed by the writing, the character growth & development, the art, the use of cryptids (ones I knew about and new ones), the storyline and the way it keeps you interested more and more. We start it off with a new employee at a university who is now a part of the Department of Cryptozoology. And as we go along we end up in all sorts of places, situations, adventures and flashbacks!

There is one topic I would like to highlight that I feel Microrapter has taken some special time with, that being the relationships between the characters. As the reader, you get to experience some of these coworkers just getting to know each other - so some are basically strangers at first, but overtime they become close friends who have each other's backs in some of the worst situations! I don't want to share spoilers with these short & positive reviews, so I won't name names but we have another character who goes through this memory loss development in a new chapter of her life and it is pretty fascinating to say the least. Then we have some romantic relationships which are suspenseful all in their own way. Deep down I've always been a sucker for a good romance in a story and what we get on the side of "Cryptida" is engaging. Since it is such a long series, we have interactions that come and go that feel like they don't even miss a beat - which is impressive! Also we get the enjoyment to learn of backstories to very important characters (both characters from the past and flashbacks from present characters), we learn about Toy Co (which is a pretty important part to the series as a whole), some interesting villain's and there is even some further expiation on some side characters. And I can't forget to mention the comedy shared throughout the story. We get some funny moments when you weren't even expecting to have a laugh or a smile comes across your face.

I feel the art is all their own, set in a simple enough style but still very detailed and fun character designs. It has this sort of warm, bubbly feel, from their eyes to noses and mouths. I like how their facial expressions are, even the body language uses just enough expression to get the point across. The cryptids introduced are illustrated in this fun, original style. We also get to learn about these intersting cryptids as they come along, which has been insightful. And since this comic covers a good amount of characters - both older and younger, I have enjoyed how Microrapter put those little details into all of their creations - with their fashion, accessories, ect. Plus it's nice to see such a vast cast! With each chapter we get a fun, detailed cover page - sometimes with slight spoilers hidden within that after I've read the chapter I will go back and realize. That's been a joy in itself.

All sorts of adventures await you if you haven't read this intriguing series, I do recommend checking it out. There is quite a bit to read - it has been going strong for a few years now. I'm still some chapters behind but when I find the time to read it, it is worth the wait. So it will keep you busy, but in the best way possible. At times it almost feels like I am reading an action packed, mystery & cryptid of the week
adventure. I'm glad I still have a ways to go and there is plenty for me to still catch up on as this series just keeps getting better overtime.

Here we have an action packed, fast (but not too fast!) paced and eventful comic by WynautWarrior! If you like sci-fi, action, comedy and suspense I feel this may be a good one to check out. It takes place in the milkyway galaxy and our main character and hero of the story is Raylin. She's this enthusiastic and brave young woman who is taking on evil deviants around the galaxy as a superhero with her impressive superpowers. Indigo is her little sidekick, a banika. There is a good variety of different characters who are different species which add excitement and wonder to this cast. Each one offers something special to the plot as it flows along nicely.

One useful thing I noticed while reading through this one a bit more and checking out WynautWarrior's page was that they have made a great character sheet. With all kinds of important details about the main cast, this comes in handy if you need to go back and remember something about someone you might of missed.
I think one of my favorite parts of this comic is the character designs. I feel there is a good amount of different characters and their details and designs stand out nicely in this unique space setting. It makes it feel all the more original as with each character we meet has their own fun facial expressions. You can really feel the emotions when reading this story since they are done so well. WynautWarrior also does a wonderful job with body language and action scenes.
As with most of these reviews, when the artist works with digital media - I am blown away by the effects and art. This is no exception, I feel like the colors, backgrounds, textures and effects stand out beautifully and get better as you go along!

Currently I am caught up with the comic. Its been a nice little binge read the last few months since I started it. I couldn't help but feel inspired of Raylin as I read. It seems that so much is stacked against her at moments, but she never loses hope. Her sense of justice and loyalty makes Hopebringer a feel good web comic at the end of the day. I like the other supporting characters as well, they all make for a joyous cast and I found myself invested in the plot. If you are looking for something new to try, I think Hopebringer could be a new favorite of yours if given the chance.

I have read some of Spellodello's works before and as I was going through her comic fury profile this one caught me by surprise. It may only be 18 pages long, but this short web comic has much to offer to it's readers. It is a comic about growth, we get to meet a young maple seed who is trying to find her place in this giant world to lay down her roots. As I read it I felt a ping of innocence, when as a child I saw these seeds falling towards the ground and it was their given name - Helicopters! And here I am as an adult, reading a short web comic about one that touched my heart.

This little helicopter has so much energy, spirt and joy for her future. It was both exciting and inspiring to read and wonder where she would end up, what fate would have in store for her along her journey. She runs into a few threats and it truly makes you think about nature and the outdoors as a whole. How all plants have started from a simple seed. I love the style Spellodello illustrated for her. It's creative with her hair being the seed itself, or at least that is how I viewed it.
The artwork is detailed, as can be expected. I think my favorite takeaway from the art is how we get to experience this story first hand from her perspective. The world is such a large, vast and scary place and we see it first hand in this short story. And the ending was emotional but in a good, hopeful way. What a wonderful, creative short.

So if you are looking for a pleasant, change of pace 18 page beautiful and insightful comic I highly recommend Helicopter! I don't think you will be disappointed.
